Ama’s career began as a professional netballer, where she spent over two decades wowing crowds in the UK, Australia, and New Zealand – earning 100 caps for England as well as captaining the side.

Balancing her athletic career with academic pursuits, she has a law degree as well as a master’s in finance and management. She’s taken on solicitor roles across family, commercial, banking, and charity law.

In her post-sporting life, Ama has served as a board member for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games and has presented for BBC and Sky in the UK and New Zealand. She’s dabbled in radio hosting and being a newspaper columnist and recently led Bupa’s Global Inclusion efforts.
